Claimwell's agents never reach into a database. Every system is behind a typed port with an adapter, a contract test suite, and a sandbox that behaves like the real thing. Your system of record stays the system of record.
The system of record. Claimwell's port is shaped like the Guidewire Cloud API with disability-native objects, so each adapter is a thin mapping: benefit period to exposure, payment to check, decision to a custom entity.

Originals stay in your repository. Claimwell stores the extraction, the citations, and a pointer. Rendered letters are produced through your correspondence engine and archived where your retention policy says.
The Mail Room agent reads from every channel claims and documents arrive through. Each is a drop point with its own realism: skewed scans, duplicate faxes, replies without a reference token.
Eligibility is verified against the census feed and a lookup API, with the feed timestamp attached so staleness is visible. Late feeds, schema drift, and bad rows are expected and handled.
Claimwell ships with a synthetic duration table for evaluation. In production you plug in the guideline product you already license. The lookup is a service call; the content never enters the model.
Disbursements go through your payment rail with the benefit engine's worked explanation attached. Issued payments are never edited; corrections are new payments or voids with an overpayment record.
Terraform module per cloud, Helm chart, and a compose stack with an open equivalent of every managed service. Open-weight models run on your GPUs by default. Frontier models are a per-task route through your own provider account.
